A Holy Knight is a loyal agent of the Curia or Lourdes Order tasked with slaying fiends and absorbing their Blue Blood.
Using their Rosier Clock, a Holy Knight may thoroughly prevent Blue Blood from spreading and consequently creating more fiends. As the deadly substance would turn an ordinary human into a fiend upon even brief contact, many of these agents are half-demons. In addition to their combat duties, Curia Holy Knights are almost always sworn to a Saint as well, dedicating their lives to their protection until their eventual sacrifice at the Blue Altar. Holy Knights of the Lourdes Order, however, are under no such obligation, and actually disdain the human sacrifice that the Curia commits.

Ludegert - Founder of the Curia, she was the original Holy Knight who would strike down the Nightlord and be forever renowned as a hero.
Corrine - Ludegert's personal attendant who has served the Curia since the days of the Nightlord.
Arnice - A half-demon agent who served the Curia for many years. She is the strongest half-demon to ever live, and she would be the strongest Holy Knight as well if she had not left the Curia.
Aluche Anatoria - A Holy Knight of the reformed Curia sworn to protect the world from the Eternal Night. Tasked particularly with the protection of the Bride of Time.
Ruenheid Ariarhod - One of Aluche's best friends and former training partner. Ruenheid abandoned the Curia to join the Lourdes Order, but she retained the title of Holy Knight under the opposing faction regardless.
Muveil Folin Lou - Aluche's former captain and mentor, she was an accomplished agent before defecting and becoming a pure-blooded demon.
