Eleanor Ernest (エレノア・エルネスト) is one of the heroines in Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon. She is a chocolatier and a traveling merchant who roams the world. Despite being human, she seems to be able to communicate well with Fiends and Demons and her chocolate is famous amongst them. She wants to make a world where nobody has to be sad, and she hopes her chocoloate can help. She also wants to create the Ultimate Chocolate.
Appearance[]
Eleanor is a young girl with amber eyes and pink hair, with a cyan strand of hair over her right eye. She wares white hairclips at forehead-height and keeps her hair in two donuts at the back-sides of her head, with two small tails coming out of them. Attached to the tails are spherical hairpins that are orange, white and cyan in color. She wears a white and orange hat. She wears a pink foulard around her neck. Her dress is white, orange and brown, with white and red frills at the bottom, with a white bunny tail in the back, and white frills at shoulder height. Around her waist is a little strap with several trinkets attached to it, including a couple of spoons and an orange fox tail. Strapped to her dress are two oversized gloves with buttons attached to them. The glove on her right hand is white, brown and orange, while the one on her left hand is white, brown and red. She wears brown pants, with additional very baggy pants around her lower legs, tightened by small ropes at ankle-height. These baggy pants are orange, white and brown and the one on her right side ends in red while the left one ends in yellow. Attached to these baggy pants are golden trinkets, like the face of a teddy bear. She wears red japanese sandals. Eleanor also brings with her a shoulder bag with various straps, pins and furry plushies on it.
Personality[]
Eleanor is constantly cheerful. She's almost obsessed with chocolate, and strongly believes in her cause to make everyone happy through it. She is very hopeful in the future and always believes things will turn out for the better. She sometimes tries to lighten the mood in the room during heated discussions. However, occasionally even her can get angry, like when Veruschka ridiculed her vision.
History[]
Eleanor used to live in Eurulm before the Moon Queen incident. Her grandma used to make her and her family chocolate all the time. When the Capital was moved, her grandma broke her back and couldn't work in the kitchen anymore. Eleanor then decided to take her place and make chocolate for her grandma and everyone else.
Relationships[]
- Christophorus - A customer of Eleanor. She also aids her in finding information on rare chocolate ingredients.
- Aluche - As a fellow chocolate-lover, Aluche is always happy to aid Eleanor in battle and find all the ingredients she needs. When Eleanor finally made the Ultimate Chocolate, she decided to give her to Alcuhe for Valentine's Day. She also sells Aluche wares at Hotel Eterna.
- Camilla Alucard - Camilla is Eleanor's employer.
- Veruschka: Veruschka is skeptical towards Eleanor's vision at first, but after witnessing the power Eleanor's chocolate has on fiends, she changes her mind and is willing to try it herself.
Combat[]
Eleanor fights with a massive mace.
- Double Chase - Eleanor creates a big puddle of chocolate around her and then mixes it with her mace, damaging any fiends that step on it.
- Lily Burst - Eleanor covers the ground with chocolate, and hands Aluche weapons made of chocolate that she uses to slash the enemies. Eleanor then pulls out a massive chcocolate mace to finish off every enemy in a circular area in front of them.
- Active Skill - "Oops, My Hand Slipped" - Eleanor creates a pool of chocolate that slows down the enemy.
- Special Skill - "I'm Good with Chocolate" - Generates chocolate.
